Setite Temples

The first question that you should ask yourself, if why do you want to create a temple. Personal temples and shrines are often small, secretive structures with no one else knowing of them. It's only when you have a Setite with a cult following or many Setites in one city that a temple is needed. Then, it serves as a place for you to perform ceremonies and meet and greet with other members of the clan.

Secondly, you may be tempted to build the grandest, biggest structure that you can possible get your St to allow. Let me give you my two cents - Don't. Sure, it may be great that you just build a 20 story massive temple with every possible room type in it. But what happens when your character leaves play? In many cases, the temple is simply left behind, unguarded, and sometimes unknown to the rest of the clan. This creates a security risk to the rest of the clan. In addition, would your character want to leave behind something to be defiled by other clans.

The larger temple types given are designed for the use of many Setites. They are the ones that most Setites know about and can travel to. Often, they pull in Setites from all over the area they were designed for, so that they are never left abandoned.

Okay, so now you have spent all your influences and done all the actions required to provide you with your very own Setite temple. You have spent months building this structure and taken the time to properly concrete it. Now what? Well, this is the perfect time to let your creativity show itself.

Each Setite Temple is unique. From the most massive ancient structures, to the one room closets in the back of someone's haven, no two temples are exactly alike. Pick a design and theme for your temple, and have fun designing the structure. Is it a dimly lit fortress of stone? Or a dazzling Art Deco Room? Let your imagination decide.
