Daughters
The Satu Sekhemet have
a heirarchical, matriarcical stucture; they do not fit into
the clan's chain of command. They are a separate order,
with an unltimate mission and purpose perhaps known only
by the Sat-Sekhemet or the Dark Heirophant himself.
Satu Sekhemet -
The Daughters of Sekhemet
The Satu Sekhemet make up the intelligence and investigative
arm of the Followers of Set. They are Matriarchal, and no
male member of the Clan has yet managed to successfully
challenge the tradition of female authority. Males may be
members of this arm, but all positions of power, respect,
and authority are female. At all levels an adherence to
the Path of Ecstasy is expected; if one is not on the Path
of Ecstasy, one should be an aspiring student, under the
tuteledge of an Ecstatic, trying to join them in the true
faith. The Satu Sekhemet are seen as a necessary evil; the
Slaves of God must have knowledge, even if the price is
accomodating the Satu Sekhemet a special place.
Positions
change through meritorious service, political maneuvering,
and death. As with the Kenyet Sutekh, the Satu Sekhemet
hold no positions of official power within the clan, however,
only a fool would disregard the special wisdom held by the
Satu Sekhemet. Those who heed their wisdom, find prosperity--
those whom ignore their guidance are lost in the sands of
the eternal desert.

Sat
or Sa - Daughter/Son
The Sa/Sats
are the field agents of the Satu Sekhemet. This is the lowest
level of the Satu Sekhemet and the members at this level
may be either male or female, but males may rise no higher.
Skill in subterfuge and obfuscation is encouraged due to
the mission of the Satu Sekhemet. The ability to Dominate
the minds of others is a valuable non-standard commodity
as well.
Sa-imahy
- Honoured Son -- City
At each
level above Sat/Sa, the leader may opt to have a male assistant
(called a Sa-imahy or Honoured Son). If so, the Sa-imahy
must possess the same requirements for the position needed
by the one he serves. So if one was to become the assistant
to a Senet-mewet, then he would need to be a follower of
the Path of Ecstasy, and would be formally refered to as
a Sa-imahy to Senet-mewet (Example: Shane Snake is Samantha
Setite's Sa-imahy. She holds the rank of Senet-mewet, therefore
Shane would formally be called "Sa-imahy to Senet-mewet
Samantha Setite, Shane Snake"). It should also be noted
that the Sa-imahy may hold a great deal of inlfuence with
the female he's attached to. Often, however, these men are
'trophies', adornments to the Superior Female.
Senet-semesu
- Elder sister-- Domain
All Sa/Sats
are subordinate to a Senet-semesu. Each Senet-semesu is
a follower of the Path of Ecstasy and must possess at Setite
Lore x4 or greater in order to hold the position. They oversee
the information gathering done by the Sa/Sats under their
guidance. They also often serve as instructors for lesser
Daughters in the Path of Ecstacy.
Senet-mewet
- Mother's Sister-- Regional
The Senet-mewets
are analysists for the Sat-sekhemet. They coalate the information
gathered by the Senet-semesus and present their findings
to the Sat-sekhemet. A Senet-mewet should possess Setite
Lore x 5 or greater and follow the Path of Ecstasy.
Sat-Sekhemet
- Daughter of Sekhemet-- National/Continental
The order
is led by the Sat-Sekhemet who must be a follower of the
Path of Ecstasy and possess Setite Lore x5 or greater. The
Sat-Sekhemet holds the ear of the Imy-er-hemu-tep-Sutekh
(Dark Heirophant). In the darkest corners of Ah-Neter, it
is whispered that the Imy-er-hemu-tep-Sutekh has greater
plans for the Sat-Sekhemet and her subordinates.
These whispers only serve
to contribute to the general distrust of the Satu Sekhemet
by much of the rest of the Clan.
